Family of Officer Lamars Hughes supported by Association.

Officer Lamars Hughes wife Angela was recently honored with a donation and competitive LVH 47 challenge coin by the relief association at our annual golf tournament fundraiser.

In 2023, we unexpectedly lost one of the most highly respected and well-known active-duty patrol officers, Lamars Hughes. Hughes was a 29-year veteran of the Wellesley Police Department and loved serving the community. He was an avid golfer and looked forward to theWellesley Police Golf Classic every year.

The Wellesley Police Relief Association provides families, such as Lamars’, the support they need during such an unexpected time.
